A superb, floater, golden-metallic pyritohedron from the classic Italian locality of Rio Marina, Isle of Elba. This super-sharp crystal has mirror-bright luster and the crystal faces are beautifully etched. A scattering of specular hematite is an excellent compliment. Ex. Mitchell Gunnell and Ed David Collections.
