A good-sized specimen of Fluorite from the Muzquiz area in Mexico. The cubic crystals, which measure up to 4.2 cm on edge, are essentially colorless internally, but have a rich purple hue on the exterior. There are hundreds of small stepped faces on the crystals, and the piece is gemmy when backlit.
