A wonderfully formed crystal of dark "dravite" tourmaline from Australia, from the notable California collection of Charles Hansen. What is remarkable about this crystal is its eye-catching staggered terminations - it is actually a compound crystal composed of dozens of intergrown sub-crystals. What may appear to be rough spots or mineralization on some of the faces is NOT - it is just reflection - the crystal is in great shape.
