A classic in aesthetic form featuring a large single Anatase along with several other smaller crystals are smartly set on a an elongate piece of matrix covered by small, milky Quartz crystals from the classic locality at Hardangervidda, Norway. The 1.3 cm main crystal has superior luster and is essentially doubly terminated with one end slightly immersed in the Quartz crystals and the other sticking straight up with the pyramidal faces topped off by a flat pinacoid face. The dozen or so smaller crystals are well exposed and range from 3 to 7 mm in length and either reclined on the Quartz or sticking straight up out of it. All of the Anatase crystals are in perfect condition and the large, prominent crystal is just eye-catching on the contrasting whiter Quartz. A lovely small cabinet piece. ex Richard Rossi collection
