A simply gorgeous, two and a quarter inch, almost total gem, crystal of rich teal-blue Indicolite Tourmaline from production at the Santa Rosa Mine a few decades ago (1980s). The color saturation of this crystal is some of the best for Indicolite. In detail it displays subtle horizontal banding or zoning that varies from a vibrant teal-blue for much of its length interrupted by a wispy, green zone at the middle and at the termination for fabulous artistic effect. This handsome crystal is striated parallel to its length, like most Tourmaline crystals, and displays a complex, and also "striated" pyramidal termination. A fabulous Indicolite Tourmaline crystal that comes with a custom engraved acrylic base. Stunning in person, with good lighting! From an old tourmaline collection we obtained.
