Graceful, curving purple fluorites to 3 cm "gently" drape over the top of robust, deep green, 5-cm-across "balls" of crystallized fluorites (which are heavily stepped and modified cuboctahedra) on this special, and rather large, combination piece. It glows amazingly when even just slightly backlit, because it is a thin plate that formed in some kind of crevasse. The green portion is actually crystallized (crudely) even on the backside, so fluid most have had some room there to flow. It is one of my favorites of this lot! I think it looks more like a sculpture, and the contrasts of color and symmetry are just mesmerizing. From the second pocket, of late summer in 2013.
