From the noted collection of Dr. Jan Buma, a connoisseur of Eastern European minerals, a remarkable Baryte-in-jamesonite from Maramures. We are accustomed to seeing flower-like calcites tinted dove gray by jamesonite from this locality, but this is a delicate cluster of bladed, gemmy Baryte with the jamesonite included in the crystals. Baryte is much rarer and one in this condition is exceptional. Mined in the early 1980's. 6.3 x 4.0 x 3.9 cm
