The Barang-Turghao locality in Pakistan is fairly well known, mostly by garnet enthusiasts and anyone that likes cinnamon-colored Garnets! This miniature consists of a pair of two cinnamon-orange Grossular Garnets measuring 2cm across with three smaller crystals in association. The Grossulars are very well-formed with trapezohedral faces displaying very slight striations and all of the crystals are transparent to translucent. Some small, pale green, prismatic Diopside crystals are present at the base of the piece in front.
