This specimen is from Wilkes County, from older finds - the piece came out of the Feist Collection. These two amethyst crystals are stacked atop one another, against a backdrop of colorless quartz. To make it more interesting, the amethysts are colorless in the middle, and purple on the termination faces. Ex. Richard Hauck Collection.
