The mining of these is FINISHED now! We were lucky to have a relationship that allowed us access to the good specimens of this material. Until these pink fluorites were discovered in Mexico, Peru and the Alps were the only sources for pink fluorite, and the cost of a specimen such as this was (and still is) astronomical from those localities. This is one of our last remaining plates of good quality, with good deep color and translucency; and it is BIG! These octahedrons measure up to 2 cm on edge.
