Seldom do you find a combination piece with such nice aesthetics (unless you are dealing with this wonderful collection, of course). The large octahedral Carrollite had a rich metallic luster and very interesting modified edges. The Bornite crystals resting on the Carrollite are highly modified, but the depth of the black color is so perfectly complemented by the velvety texture and the rounded crystal edges that the overall look is extremely pleasing - as well as contrasting to the carrollite so that both stand out fully. A unique combination piece with incredible aesthetics for a "black ugly!"
