We call this specimen the "rocketship" as you have a stark, grape-juice colored single amethyst (doubly-terminated), shooting up like a rocket from a cloud of quartz scepters below. It looks good the other way, too! I find this piece one of the most amazing and fun to look at in the entire collection, though its far from the most expensive by any stretch. Pristine save one teeny ding and a contact in back.
