A good Phosphophyllite, of any size, is I think one of the Holy Grails of collecting minerals. The color and form are so unique and beautiful, they stand out from the crowd. This is a small but choice, perfectly twinned, gemmy crystal from the famous old finds at Cerro Rico. It is complete all around, and really just an exquisite example of the species, in its classic habit, without breaking the bank. This is an old piece from the 1950s, which came out with Peter Bancroft at that time. It is not one of the new finds from recent work here, which tend to have different form and color to my eye.
