Lustrous, striated, olive-green epidote prisms to 3.8 cm nicely the cover the front of the massive epidote matrix on this fine cabinet specimen from recent finds at a less well-known Chinese locale for epidote. These blocky epidotes bear resemblance to the famous pieces from the Green Monster Mine in Alaska. New find.
