A very RICH, old-time ore specimen of lustrous, red to oxidized ruby silver, pyrargyrite, in quartz matrix from the very famous Comstock Lode of Nevada. Ex Richard Hauck Collection. This is a neat old locality piece from the 1800s silver rush! Few such (admittedly ugly but historic) specimens come to light anymore! 6.5 x 4.6 x 4.3 cm
