A GORGEOUS cluster of very glassy, facet-grade, doubly terminated amethyst crystals from the recent find in Georgia. These stunning amethysts were produced out of a pegmatite that has produced on and off for decades, though in a spectacular find of Chritsmas 2004, it produced the best pockets yet - exceptional, colorful crystals with glassy luster and large size. These are arguably the finest North American amethysts. The contact on the back and part of one side is certainly not detracting in any manner from this beautiful piece. 5.5 x 4.6 x 3.5 cm
