A dramatic, 3.8 x 2.1 cm, lustrous, translucent, brown vesuvianite crystal dominates a large vug filled with smaller vesuvianites and white blades of the uncommon calcium silicate meionite in a sculptural matrix. This fine and uncommon cabinet specimen is from the Ais Dome of Namibia. This is a very large crystal from this locale.
