This large plate of manganese and quartz vein matrix features a great vein of 3-5 mm rhodochrosites runnign its length. They are sharp, spiky, and translucent! There is one repair to that projecting "hook" as shown in lower-left photo, about a 2 cm portion. This can be removed, though, to give you a nice thumbnail and still leave a good large specimen. I should have done it, probably...This is a very rich specimen for the price!
