An old classic from Brazil in the 1960s era of mining, seldom seen today! A large, well formed, splendent dark gray crystal of hematite with sharp faces and unusual habit for Brazil. Complete in front. The sides clearly exhibit the sharp contact faces of other bygone crystals, on its nondisplay faces. Ex. Cynthia Payne collection.
