A sharp, lustrous, partially gemmy, emerald-green uvarovite garnet crystal perched atop matrix from the famous Outokumpu Mine of Finland. The partially gemmy crystal has textbook dodecahedral form and is partially contacted on the top and back. Uvarovite is the uncommon calcium chromium garnet group end-member. Classic, old-time material from this famous locality and is highly representative of the species and locale. Ex. Dick Jones Collection.
