A very aesthetic combination specimen from the famous Butte District. A cluster of sharp, brassy, mirror-bright pyrite crystals are superbly placed at the top of a plate of milky quartz crystals. Some of the pyrite crystal faces are preferentially striated, adding much character. The large quartz crystal is 2.5 cm. The pyrites are pristine. This is outstanding, old-time combination material from this historic district. Ex. Robert Lambert and Richard Hauck Collections.
