When these specimens first started emerging from Pakistan, they were (and still are) regarded as some of the finest crystallized Spessartine specimens in the world. They are, arguably, the finest red Spessartines available today. This is a pretty thumbnail, which consists of sharp, lustrous, gemmy, rich orange-red color "textbook" trapezohedra of Spessartine creating a lovely "cluster." The largest Spessartine crystal measures 1.0 cm across.
