You may have seen specimens from the small but exciting recent find of rhodos in China. Most all of them were faintly reminiscent of Sweet Home rhodos in form (rhombs of various sizes), thought the quality was much lower. In this case, however, you have a specimen of an entirely different form, more like something from South Africa - densely-packed rosettes of translucent, bladed pink crystals. The color is a pretty salmon-pink similar to a Japanese or a good Peruvian. Has a lot of sparkle to it as well! This is big piece, unusually complete, and again quite different than most of what you see.
