A bright and colorful cluster of rich yellow Fluorite cubes from the Minerva Mine. The Fluorites are gemmy to translucent, and the luster is superb. It is very unusual to have pure yellow Fluorites from there, with no purple or blue, and the color is uniform and excellent. There are balls of white Baryte to 3 mm included within the Fluorite, and a few Calcite crystal on the Fluorite, as well. The largest Fluorite is 4.2 cm on edge, and the Calcites range up to 2 cm in length. There is a little edge wear in a few places, but the overall appearance is not affected much. Collected in 1992, this specimen has a lot going for it - luster, color, and the accessory minerals. Combined with the color, it was already labeled "perm collection" and kept by Ross back in 1992 when he got it (with a label covered in notes about how unusual the specimen is). Better in person!
