This specimen hosts dozens upon dozens of rich reddish orange color, highly lustrous, gemmy, sparkling, dodechedra (with minor trapezohedral modifying faces) of Grossular (var: "Hessonite") on matrix. Val di Susa is famous for these Hessonites. Ex. Brian Kosnar Collection (#BK196) .
