A classic specimen of gemmy, lustrous, deep red color crystalline Zincite mixed on contrasting white Calcite matrix. In my experience, it is rare to find Zincite from Franklin that passes light as seen on this specimen. This material is some of the most well known (and easily recognizable) from all of Franklin. A good hand-size specimen from the famous New Jersey collection of Richard A. Kosnar.
