A showy and pristine specimen of two lustrous heubnerite blades to 4.5 cm on lustrous, transparent to translucent quartz crystals from the Pasto Bueno District of Peru. Many of the quartz crystals are doubly-terminated. Old stock of Dr. Gary Hansen and not shown since the early 1980s! This would thus be from the classic find of the 1970s that at the time produced best of species. Nice matrix pieces like this were always rare form there, though loose crystals were common at the time (though not now!) 7.4 x 6.2 x 4.5 cm
