An exquisite cluster of gemmy and lustrous purple (manganoan) adamite crystals is aesthetically perched atop the toenail-sized gossan matrix. The pristine crystals are at the top of the piece. This piece is from the one-time find in 1981 and is highly representative for this very desirable manganoan-adamite species (erroneously once though to be cobaltoan) .
