Shattuckite is a rare copper silicate first identified at the famous Bisbee Mine in Arizona. This rich specimen is from Kaokoveld, Namibia, which is also known for dioptase specimens. This is essentially the wall of a shallow pocket covered with a layer of shattuckite on which gemmy little quartz crystals grew, so that the shattuckite is both beneath and included inside the quartz.
