An unusual apatite from any location, which looks like a drip deposit hanging off what used to be a much more sharply formed crystal and so preserved in a partial state of being dissolved (?). In any case, it is oddly attractive and is an unusually large apatite for the mine, even if not it is a partial crystal. Acquired from the collection of Tim Sherburn, who got it in 1985 while doing cleaning and prep work for mine owner Pala Intl. Not so ugly in person...
