Call it turgite, limonite, or what you will - this is an absolute CLASSIC American specimen, out of the fabulous collection of Ed David. The iridescent turgite here, with its play of purple, green and blue hues, has coated a large plate of euhedral quartz crystals, creating this bizarre "landscape" of form and color.
