Grossular

A very large and impressive plate of GEMMY grossular garnets, particularly notable in that the mine has recently closed and there will be no more of these coming out (and therefore, there has been a real scramble to get them and the prices have risen dramatically). Despite a few contacted areas (some damage there which you can see), this is a very notable piece for both the size (to 0.8 cm) of crystals and the size of the display face as a whole; and also for the TOP, intense gemminess of the crystals, with glassy luster and beautiful striations. 6.8 x 6.5 x 4.5 cm
