A stunning, very rare, multiple crystal, large cabinet specimen of unique and unusual quartz from a one-time, 2005 find in Madagascar. Specimens are very hard to get today. Purple fluorite octahedrons to 4 mm are richly and attractively included in large, dramatic, intergrown, lightly frosted, transparent quartz crystals. The beautiful, sharply terminated spires are complete-all-around and have only a trivial bit of contacting on the back. A striking, visual specimen, enhanced by the long crystal (14.0 cm) and the robust crystal on the right.
