Green pyromorphite, along with gemmy rhodonite, ultra-rare raspite, the silver halides and fine cerussites are considered to be the Holy Grail minerals from the famed Broken Hill deposit of Australia. SELDOM are fine green pyros available, brown ones are much more common. This EXCELLENT specimen is festooned with radial clusters of gemmy, apple-green pyromorphite prisms. The accompanying label even has the specific Broken Hill Mine, uncommon in itself! CHOICE Broken Hill material from the William Hiss Collection. A large piece, for the variety.
