An EXCELLENT, sharp and lustrous sixling chrysoberyl variety alexandrite from Bahia, Brazil. This fine specimen shows the red to green pleochrosim characteristic of alexandrite. Ex Sam Nasser Collection. It IS purple when baclit strongly with halogen, and it is green in sunlight, quite clearly, in person. 2.4 x 2.3 x 1.1 cm
