Gemmy tufts of acicular, grass-green pyromorphite crystals coat an earlier generation of hexagonal, lustrous, brown pyromorphite prisms on this fine specimen from the Les Farges Mine and John Schneider Pyromorphite Collection. The apple-green needles look like a cactus. This famed locale shows off the myriad forms of this mineral. Les Farges closed in 1981.
