Lovely bi-colored Elbaite crystal with unusual color pattern, associated with Cassiterite and Albite. The Elbaite grades from pastel purple down to a deep grey-blue, and it is nestled between two blades of Albite. At the base rests a superbly lustrous Cassiterite crystal, completing what is an excellent, aesthetic combination piece. Cassiterite is extremely rare for this locality, and the association adds a huge level of rarity and desirability to the specimen. This was long in the Obodda collection and was displayed at his show exhibits of his famous toenail/thumbnail suite, many times.
