This elbaite crystal is a Russian classic with that cranberry, rich red color you so rarely see! It is highly lustrous with slight surface layer translucence. It is much broader than the previous elbaite crystals in this lot, with a more typical solid and saturated body color. The mass is 274 grams. This is a significant specimen in the size and price class.
