From the noted (German) Rolf Wein Collection, a monster Alpine quartz crystal with a water-clear interior, with complex stepped faces, and most interestingly, DOUBLY-TERMINATED. It of course did not form as a floater, but broke off in the pocket, and the broken-off end entirely healed to form flashy, jagged microfaces. Quite a rare thing to have a crystal of this size, doubly-terminated, from the Alps!
