An SUPERB and super-rich specimen of fan-like clusters of lustrous, bladed yellow-green autunite from the famous Daybreak Mine of Washington. These specimens were mined in the 1960s. The autunite bundles very nearly cover the sturdy, mounded matrix on this exceptional piece. This specimen is of the highest quality and is essentially pristine. This is the CLASSIC US mineral and locality for a radioactive, AND the specimen happens to be extremely competitive in aesthetics and quality as well. Ex. George Elling Collection.
