This is a very rare specimen featuring large, euhedral, pseudo-rhombohedral prehnite crystals to 2.5 cm on edge! This is a crystal habit and style unique to this quarry, and very rare in specimens, especially in such size and qwuality. This specimen is beautiful as a prehnite, in any case. It is compelte all around, and has more translucency to it in person than the pics indicate. The Jeffrey Mine is now closed and, sadly, no more of this material will come out. It was scarce even in the heyday, though..
