What a cool, colorful and super rare combination specimen from Huanzala! This great miniature consists of a well-composed quintet of Scheelite, Fluorapatite, Pyrite, Quartz and Dickite. The piece is topped off by a lustrous, inky black, 1.5 cm Scheelite on a snow-white, Quartz plus Dickite clay matrix upon which several gemmy, pale yellow-green Fluorapatite crystals are loosely clustered. There are a few, isolated tiny Pyrite crystals on the front from 1 to 4 mm in size, but the back of the piece reveals numerous, somewhat isolated to loosely clustered Pyrite cubes to 5 mm on stark white clusters of tiny Quartz crystals (with no Dickite on this side!). The Fluorapatites are quite attractive with their yellow hue, great luster and gemminess. They range in size from 3 mm to 1.2 cm and balance the contrasting, dark colored Scheelite on the white Quartz-Dickite very well. This is from a small new find, of 2021. An elegant miniature!
