A remarkably impressive display specimen from an obscure mine, as yet. This features fluorite hanging off the side of a cluster of doubly-terminated, lustrous and gemmy, colorless quartz crystals to 14.1 cm in length. The fluorite is also dramatic - elongated, lustrous and translucent, bicolored fluorite crystals, the largest of which measures 6 cm in length and exhibits stepped growth on the edges. It is a elongated rectangular form, and is unusual. The core of the largest crystal is teal-blue and the edges of the crystal are a rich purple, making for a killer color contrast. The quartz has a small damage at the tip of the main termination, which does detract from the value but little from the overall appearance or from first glance appreciation (else, this piece would have another digit in its pricing). This is, still, a significant combo specimen, and visually very impressive, that looks like it should cost a lot more. Interestingly, the quartz itself is a floater, complete and crystallized all around, even the bottom. Found in the fall of 2011
