Vivid, rich blue Euclases of this hue came from small workings at this Topaz mine in intermittent spurts from the 1960s on. This fine thumbnail has an unusually sharp termination and a very intense blue color, with the outer portion of the crystal being gemmy. Under the right light you can see the surface of the crystal almost sparkling from this gemmy layer. The base and back portion of the crystal are contacted, but the presentation side is excellent as you can see. This is rare and older specimen, and the aesthetics of this thumbnail are quite good.
