A LARGE specimen of solid malachite and chrysocolla. On the edge, you can see the bands running through the malachite. There is a nice balance here of the green banded malachite and deep turquoise-blue chrysocolla - both copper minerals, from the prolific copper mining district in Kolwezi Province. This piece has pretty bull's-eyes surrounded by the blue, which is very desirable in these specimens.
