Another Ed David piece - a LARGE specimen of sharp, rhombohedral crystals of siderite to 1.5 cm that have been PSEUDOMORPHED by hematite. The contrasting pinkish matrix adds to the attractiveness of this uncommon specimen from an area known mostly for its amazonites and smokies.
