Here is a link to some cool pictures of this mid-century fluorite mining operation in the Tyrol mountains (it was mined for its fluorine content): http://www.sagen.at/doku/bergbau/Bergwerk_Rabenstein.html. This is a BIG, HEAVY specimen from the mining that was preserved as a specimen due to the fine nature of the crystals - translucent green crystals to 4 cm. Despite some nicks and a cleave or two, this is rare material and should be forgiven these detractions due to the extreme difficulty of finding a specimen on the market, not to mention one of this size and richness. It came out of the Wein Collection, full of fine and hard-to-get European specimens, which was dispersed last year.
