Three, lustrous and translucent, colorless beryllonite crystals, to 2.3 cm in length, have formed in a pinwheel pattern. Each looks like a Tsumeb cerussite! In fact, if you were not holding this in your hand to feel its light weight, you would think from the photo that this WAS a Tsumeb cerussite. The crystals are slightly rounded and formed just like cerussite often does. However, such gemmy, sharp crystals of beryllonite are actually more rarely seen. This is a superb piece, better in person, and I consider it the finest I know of from a small pocket found in June of 2011 (which we bought entire). Very gemmy and lustrous - more so in person than is evident in the photos.
