A fine, exotic-looking cabinet combination specimen from the Tsumeb Mine. This two-sided specimen features starbursts of sparkly, colorless mimetite needles richly scattered amongst tiny rosettes of green malachite. The mimetite and malachite rest on, and partially replace, rust-brown cuprite crystals, that coat the very sculptural, thin matrix crust of sulfides. Ex. Rob Smith Collection, a noted Tsumeb specialist.
