This transparent gem Elbaite crystal exhibits intense, cranberry red color through much of the body culminating in an intense blue termination. It consists of a main Tourmaline crystal with two smaller companion crystals in tight parallel growth. The Elbaite exhibits deep color with great luster and the prism faces are all lightly striated. The interior of this stunning little blue capped cranberry beauty is very gemmy throughout the body of the crystal to its termination and just glows with any amount of backlighting. This gorgeous piece has a mass of 5.1 grams. Small, but so beautiful and unusual.
